We are aware that both iOS and Android /b/tard have broken images. We are trying our best to fix it asap 🙂

Does the new version use https?
Because of performance consideration, we haven’t considered that option yet. We understand that it might be more important to some users so we won’t rule it out as an optional feature in the future. Perhaps part of the platinum version that we are still working on.
What about the Android version? Any estimates on when it will be fixed?
